No More Blank Walls Fest 2022
A mural of a Kye Ryan, a Yamatji/Yawuru student from Gilmore College who beat me 3 times in a row playing naughts and crosses(Yes I tried really hard). Kye is completely blind but he’s also very intelligent, mature, funny and kind. These photos were taken of him reading the braille version of “how to train your dragon” and using his braille computer.
I’m very grateful to have painted this piece with Kambarni on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja. Always a big inspiration to me!
